This is the part where I say it's too hard to write a paragraph about myself for what ever reason, but really, I'm just a guy, like most. I live in Northern Va. I really like music and other artsy things. I spend alot of time with friends doing whatever we feel. I'm a pretty open person, i also love meeting new people. OK here goes,
I'm the mom of 2 girls in grade school. I am a preschool teacher in a program similar to Head Start and absolutely love my job. I coach soccer, teach CCD (long story), and was a scout troop co-leader.

I like to run, and would like to find a running partner. I started biking as a cross training exercise. I run half marathons now, probably not another marathon in the near future. I am scuba certified and loved the dives I did in Hawaii. Also got up on a surf board there too and loved that.

Food, anything is pretty good as long as you have good company.
The same goes for music for the most part though rap and country are pretty much out. I still like the music I listened to as a teenager, which was rock. I am now a Nickleback fan and unfortunately because I have 2 daughters, like the Jonas Brothers (LOL).

I try to make each day count and when I go to sleep at night I want to be happy with how each day ended. It is important to be a good person and make the place around you a better place.

I am pretty much a jack of all trades. I can cook, bake, sew, but can also put up crown molding with nice seams, paint and do some great tile work. I guess that makes me independent and self-reliant.

Most friends consider me to have a good sense of humor, it can be dry at times. Those same friends can also vouch for a sense of adventure.
I am passionate about my interests, the person who picks up stray animals and takes them to the shelter (or keeps them overnight until I can get there), the in general nice girl from next door.

If I watch TV, it's usually Discovery Channel, History Channel, National Geographic Channel, Science Channel, Food Network or one of the three PBS Stations in the area.

I live at home with my father, stepmother, and grandmother right now. My room is constantly a horrible mess, whenever I get the motivation to clean it it's at least cluttered again within 48 hours. I'm working at the Ledo Pizza here in Manassas and actually enjoying it quite a bit.

I hate people that try to change me for any reason, be it that I don't feel like talking, I don't want to go anywhere, or I just want to bitch about nothing in particular. Even more so, I hate people that cling. I'm sort of flip-flopped on emotional people; I'm told I give good, blunt, straightforward advice, but I hate it when people whine about a problem they could be fixing.

I like to talk and generally it's about nothing; feel free to ignore me 75% of the time. If I want your attention you'll know, and otherwise I don't give much of a rat's ass if you pretend I don't exist. I talk and you don't have to listen; you can even tell me to shut up and I usually will.

In case you hadn't noticed, I'm kind of an opinionated bitch. I figure if I show the world by bad traits, there will be less chance of misunderstandings later.

I like anime and manga, and moreover most anything Japanese or Asian in persuasion. I speak the language poorly, I listen to a lot of the music, I watch some of their animated shows and read some of their comic books. I spend most of my free time on the internet roleplaying varying characters with friends on an online journaling site. I realize this makes me irrevocably nerdy, and I don't honestly give a shit. It's what I like, and it's what makes me happy. This, however, doesn't mean that liking anime and manga is instantly going to lead to us having a connection. I tend to dislike most fan-types, to be completely honest.

I'm a rather cluttered individual, in both living space and headspace. I have this strange tendency to know where things are in amongst my mess, so it all works out. I would probably drive a neat freak insane, but at the same time I'm obsessive compulsive about certain things. I like color-coordination, I get twitchy if things aren't in some manner of order. It's confusing, but that's sort of what makes it part of me, I guess.

I own a small cat, and she's the only baby I ever want. I don't really ever see myself getting married, in part because I like my independence and in part because I've watched too many marriages and relationships fall apart. You could say I'm afraid of being hurt, but I don't like to explain myself in such weak-willed, girlish words. I like to think I'm stronger than that.

I like to play games, go to movies, listen to music, spend time with family. I also like to do puzzles, read magazines. Traveling is also my favorite thing and going on the internet. My favorite celebrities are Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Carmen Electra, the Olsen twins. I'm a very nice, sweet, caring person.

I used to play open mics around the northern Virginia area but it's been awhile. I play guitar, bass, and I'm okay at the drums. I have a keyboard too and I had the worst time ever trying to teach myself how to play it! I LOVE music and movies probably the two most inspirational forms of art in my opinion. I would rather sit and chat over a cup of coffee than sit at a bar. I love going to parks and picnicing I guess it's kind of lame but I love the outdoors.

I'm a fun guy, I like to go out an party, but sometimes I like to take it slow and go for a walk to the beach, or hang out with some friends.

When it comes to relationships I am a romantic type, I like to stay up late on the phone with my significant other even if we arent saying anything. I love the emotional connection that relationships have and I like to work really hard for it, all of my relationships before have been pretty good in the past.
I believe in a relationship there needs to be communication and compromise, if you dont have those then the relationship is gonna just come crumbling down.

I like to spend time hanging out with people, though I don't get as many chance to do it as I'd like. Work keeps me (and most of my friends) pretty busy, but I usually get a chance to meet up over the weekend. I'm a gamer, and that fills up a bit of my time in the evenings when it's too late to go out and still get into work the next day.

I'd like to learn a foreign language, but only if I'd have a real chance to use it. The greater challenge is convincing myself to take vacation. I started saving up for a rainy day, but now it's a bad habit. Note to self and others: never taking vacation is no good for anyone.

In my day job, I'm an engineer. At nights, I write fiction for-hire, participate in the Knights of Columbus, and volunteer at a local high school for FIRST Robotics. In warmer weather, I train for distance races. I can speed read without trying, and I'm usually not aware that I'm doing it. I prefer to watch TV shows on DVD, and collect the ones with cartoons from my childhood.

I'm a big nerd, to be completely honest. I'm into science, video games, reading, writing, collecting/listening to vinyl records, and playing table-top wargames. Also a huge hockey fan and very anti-football. I like spending time with my friends, but due to a crappy work schedule, it seems to be a rarity these days. Watching people as I sip gas station coffee can also be a great way to spend a day.

I browse Wikipedia for a certain topic and end off on something completely different...A lot. Wikipedia is an amazing thing. You can go from polar bears to the Battle of Pydna (Rome vs. Macedonia in 168 B.C.) in under 10 moves. Trust me...I've done it.

Also heavily into planetary science, learning about stars, galaxies, planets, and anything related to astrophysics. I want to be Carl Sagan when I grow up. Oh, and I have a nerd-crush on Neil deGrasse Tyson

I love to dance, try to cook, and appreciate art without really understanding it. Iâ??d love to find someone to go hiking with, play guinea pig to my stir fry, or try out tango lessons. And I want to see if I can make you laugh in the process.

I moved here from CT a couple of years ago because I do not do winter well. I work with preschool children and love it. First of all I never know what to write when I am supposed to write something about myself. So I will do my best, I probably still wont do my self justice. I am a full time student at nvcc. I also work full time at Wal-Mart. I live in Manassas, VA. I am 25yo with blue eyes, dirty blond hair, a little extra baggage and nice broad shoulders. I've never tried the online dating thing before and am not really sure how this works. I love to pay attention to the little things like how dew drops look like diamonds in the sun light, and how roses smell and how food tastes. I like to belly laugh often and I smile as much as possible. I love deep conversation and like to listen to the way other people look at things. I love warm weather and swimming in warm water and I get cold very easily. I love and admire self-confidence in everyone, and I will try to work with others to help them get there as well. I don't like negativity, and I don't have time for people who like to be mean to other people just because they can.

Well to be honest I don't really feel like I'm from earth, in fact I'm not. I'm a starseed. A being sent to earth from another planetary system or universe to raise the frequency and vibration on earth. I am a lightworker in all aspects of my life. I work at an Organic Salon and Spa as an Aesthetician (skin care specialist). I perform treatments with Organic products that are healing and cleansing. From the very start, when I began to study the art of skin care, I realized I was embarking on a multidimentional experience, we are, after all, more than our skin. I go to George Mason but tend to hang out with friends from all over. Right now I work at GNC while I finish up my last semester. I spend most of my time hanging out with my friends when I can. Most of the time we just play around on video games or watch movies, and when we can't we usually end up talking about them all the time. As much as it sounds like I am a total bum I do work out. Actually I try to work out just about every day. I like staying active and lift weights, a lot. Most of the time in the summer when the weather is nice I will have bon-fires and just sit around with friends picking on a guitar and sipping on beer or something.

I don't drink often because I try to eat right as well as workout, but I do drink every once in a while. I am really into nature and love camping/hiking but never seem to have anyone to go with so I don't get to do it often.

I talked about movies... well I watch a lot of movies. I will often see 2-3 movies in the theater a week so long as there is something good playing. On top of that I will usually watch another 2-3 at home or work. Yeah... if it is slow at work I just watch movies. It is great!

I am told I am very romantic, and I can kinda see it. I am very confident, almost to the point of cocky but I try not to be. I have never had a fear of speaking in public. (I know I am a total freak of nature, lol) I am not material. Don't get me wrong if you gave me a big screen tv or new car I would be happy but "stuff" really doesn't matter all that much to me. Oh and I am loyal, uncompromisingly loyal. I tend to just assume that everyone is so I also tend to be very trusting.
